Hearty brunch
We cook on-site from locally-sourced ingredients. Vegan and vegetarian dishes are marked right on the menu, and we cook those with the seed oils dialled right back.
Chunky cookies, handmade daily
Real butter, Belgian chocolate, Nutella, Lotus and Dulce de Leche, baked in-house every day. Crisp at the edges, gooey in the middle, and heavy enough that you feel it in your hand.
Three cities, one family
We started out chasing 'cafecitos' around the world and stopped in Budapest, Bucharest and Belgrade. Five brunch spots so far, with more cities coming. #webelieveinhandmade.

Frequently asked questions
Do you take reservations?
We are walk-ins only, no bookings. It keeps things relaxed and means a table is usually turning over. Mornings and mid-week are usually the calmest if you would rather skip a wait.
Where are your brunch spots?
Five brunch spots across three cities. Budapest has two (Hercegprímás u. 15 and Ferenciek tere 1), Bucharest has two (Strada General Christian Tell 1-3 and Calea Floreasca 91-111) and Belgrade has one (Kralja Petra 20a).
Do you have vegan and vegetarian options?
Plenty. A big part of our brunch is plant-based, and in our vegan dishes we cut right back on seed oils. Just ask the team and we will point you to the best picks.
Are you pet-friendly?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome, and we will happily bring a bowl of water for your four-legged friend.
What makes your cookies special?
They are chunky, handmade and baked in-house daily with real butter and quality chocolate: Belgian chocolate, Nutella, Lotus and Dulce de Leche. Thick and crisp at the edges, gooey in the middle.
Do you have specialty coffee and mimosas?
We do. Proper specialty coffee, roasted in Barcelona, plus a mimosa bar. Flat whites, lattes and the rest are all on the menu.
Is the cheesecake available in every location?
Cheesecake by Cookie Beacon is our newest brand and is rolling out across all three cities. Availability can vary day to day, so check with the brunch spot for the day’s flavours.
